District of Columbia Combat Sports CommissionCommunity Grant Application

The District of Columbia Combat Sports Commission Community Grant will provide financial support to nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting youth combat sports as an anti-violence strategy in the District of Columbia. Organizations receiving grants should enrich the lives of DC youth through structured programs as outlined in their Application, following the guidelines in the “Application Process” below.

Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 3-606(k-1), the District of Columbia Combat Sports Commission (the “Commission”) will award one-year grants to non-profit organizations that meet the eligibility requirements set forth below. In Fiscal Year (FY) 2024, the Commission intends to award five (5) grants not to exceed the amount of $20,000 each. The Commission reserves the right to increase or decrease the pool of grant funding at its discretion.

Applications for the FY 2024 grant cycle will be due no later than December 1, 2023. The online application must be time-stamped by 11:59 p.m. on the date the application is due.

Applicants will be notified of their award status by February 29, 2024.
