Home Occupation Permit (HOP) Owner Consent Form

The purpose of this form is to initiate a Home Occupation Permit Owner Consent request to the Office of the Zoning Administrator at the Department of Buildings. Please note that upon submission of your Home Occupation Permit Owner Consent Form, the tenant named below will be authorized to obtain a Home Occupation Permit for "The Property" based on the Zoning Regulations of 2016 Subtitle 11-U DCMR §§ 251.2(d) states a hop shall require evidence of the property owner's concurrence for any hop that involves employees, clients, customers or other non-residents to attend "The Property."Requests are reviewed and processed within three (3) business days from the date of submission and WILL result in the approval of the associated Home Occupation Permit Application if the occupation is otherwise compliant with Zoning Regulations.
